Dumping Investigation Regarding Hot Rolled Flat Steel Closed Without Any Measures

 

Dumping investigation which was initiated upon the complaint of local manufacturers, by the Communiqué on Prevention of Unfair Competition in Imports dated January 28, 2015 and numbered 2015/1, against “hot-rolled flat steel” originating from the People’s Republic of China, Ukraine, France, Slovakia, Japan, Romania, Russian Federation was closed with the Communiqué numbered 2016/9 published in the Official Gazette today.

As a result of the predeterminations, on August 28, 2015, in relation to the imports of the products subject to the investigation originating from Slovakia, Russia, Japan and People’s Republic of China, a provisional measure was set for a period of 6 months. Within the scope of the Communiqué on Prevention of Unfair Competition in Imports dated April 20, 2016 and numbered 2016/9, it is decided to close the pending investigation without adopting any measures due to withdrawal of the application by the complaining domestic manufactures. Additionally, it is also resolved that any security deposit made within the scope of the provisional measures will be reimbursed.
